Brief History
Tehran – Boston Consulting Engineers (TBE) was established in 1962 in Tehran with cooperation and limited partnership of Metcalf & Eddy Consulting Engineers (M&E) – one of the world leading consulting engineers – in order to reach the following objectives.
- To establish a reputable consulting engineering firm in Iran
- To teach and apply world standards in scientific and technical engineering field with respect to local conditions.
After meeting the objectives, in 1970 this partnership and affiliation was terminated by mutual consent of both parties. Since that time, TBE has continued its activities as a 100% independent Iranian company.
Nearly half a century and since its establishment, TBE has been involved in a variety of engineering works such as; case studies; design; construction management, supervision, and startup of many water and wastewater projects across the country. Some of the major projects are listed in the enclosed brochure.
Currently, TBE has been classified by the Iranian Planning and Management Organization in the following fields:
